Bluddy Studio: Present Tense

Bluddy Studio is the creative practice of Paul Hwang, a Los Angeles-based graphic artist and creative director with a focus on animation, arts and culture, sports and wellness, food, and youth marketing. The studio offers filmic design solutions grounded in conceptual rigor and shaped by a uniquely refined aesthetic. Bluddy creates work that spans illustrative animation, editorial design, short documentaries, branded content, and visually rich commercials. Each work is crafted with a commitment to both clarity and cultural nuance.

Paul brings over 20 years of cross-disciplinary experience to the studio. His background includes creating original IP for Disney TVA, directing campaigns for Nike and Beats, serving as a rostered animation director with Blacklist and Psyop, and leading editorial and creative work at Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai. His work has reached a global audience across industries and platforms. Paul holds a BFA from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California.
